Gifting the Prize Winners of the Sir Randol Fawkes Essay Competition
On Thursday, April 30th, YWCA members Dr. Donna Miller, Andrea Knott, Minister Linda Thompson, and Rosalie Fawkes visited Judith P. Thompson Primary School to hand out gift certificates to the prize winners and treat bags to all participants. The children were excited to be recognized, and the event showcased how young people can understand, value and be inspired by Bahamian history.
Both prize winners Michael Hart and Theodore Glinton attributed their success to parental support and consistent preparation.
